I am happy to have the opportunity to introduce y'all to Natalie.  This coffee loving soul loves people and Jesus even more.  You don't want to miss her words of wisdom!

  1. What is your favorite memory growing up?

My favorite memory growing up is probably when my dad would take my sister, brother, and I to Panera on Saturday mornings to give my mom a break. He would buy one cinnamon roll, and we would slice it in the bagel slicer into about 10 different pieces. We would all share it and then go on a walk on the trail that was right behind Panera.

  1. If you had the entire day free and money was no issue, what would you do and where would you go?

I would grab coffee with a friend or two in the morning, hammock and read in the afternoon, then go on a hike with a few more friends at around 4:00pm! In the evening I would have dinner with my family and have a game night with them. I know, it may sound boring, but I LOVE spending time with people.

  1. What is your career dream?

I would love to be a wife and a mother and work part time as a labor and delivery nurse. I eventually would be interested into doing frontier missions and incorporating nursing into that somehow, but I don’t know if I am called to that😊

  1. Fill in the blank…I wish I didn’t struggle with_____.

I wish I didn’t struggle with a fear of what people thought about me! I think I would be a lot more bold in sharing the gospel and in just loving people in general.

  1. I feel encouraged when…

I feel encouraged when I sing with the Body of Christ! I absolutely love hearing children, young adults, all the way up to the elderly praising the name of Jesus. It encourages my heart especially when I see those older than me worshiping because it reminds my heart that God is faithful and keeps his promises. Also, anytime I can have deep conversations with my sisters in Christ over a cup of coffee. Yup, coffee and conversations minister to my soul 😉

  1. What was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?

Playing Codenames with my family (if you haven’t played, you are seriously missing out). My mom tends to think abstractly and my dad very concretely, so it is hilarious hearing them trying to figure out the clues that are given and both “argue” why theirs is more logical.

  1. If you could tell your high school self-anything, what would it be?

I would give her a hug and tell her that she didn’t have to worry about her future—God would provide for her every need.

  1. What has been the most difficult season of your life? How did you get though it?

One of the most difficult seasons of my life was my senior year of high school. A family member attempted suicide (thankfully they did not succeed!). I was also struggling with bondage to sin in a few specific areas. It was a really dark season. Initially it didn’t feel or seem like God was doing anything. In my freshman year of college, the grace of the gospel and the reality of the cross became real to me in a way I had never experienced, and the Lord brought a lot of healing and comfort (not only in that situation) but also set me free from bondage to sin in some incredible ways I never thought possible.

  1. Fill in the blank…I am not a _______ person.

I am NOT a morning person. No way! The only thing that makes them slightly tolerable is knowing that I can have a cup of coffee.

  1. Fill in the blank…my biggest wish is ________.

My biggest wish is to travel to New Zealand. That is something I really want to do someday. Partly because it is so gorgeous, partly because the Lord of the Rings was filmed there. I am a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan! They are the best movies ever filmed. Period.
